Our doctors have years of experience in taking care of patients eye health of all the ages.

Dr. Monika Murawska received her bachelor's degree in biology from St. John’s University in 2004. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2008. After earning her degree, Dr. Murawska moved to Long Island, where she has been providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She takes great pride in taking care of her patients’ eye health while helping them achieve their best possible vision.
Dr. Murawska is licensed in the therapeutic treatment and management of ocular diseases, including dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, ocular infections (such as conjunctivitis/pink eye, corneal abrasions), ocular allergies, ocular inflammation, and foreign body removal. Dr. Murawska also monitors and manages eye health related to systemic medications that may have ocular side effects. She provides comprehensive diabetic eye exams, cataract evaluations, and co-management of patients before and after cataract and LASIK procedures. Dr. Murawska has experience working with neurodivergent children and adults and is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Dr. Murawska is passionate about kid's eye health. She is a certified myopia management provider and specializes in specialty contact lens fittings such as Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses, custom specialty contact lenses, Stellest lenses, and therapeutic eye drop treatments. As well as treatment of amblyopia in kids.
She also fits specialty contact lenses for adults, including rigid gas permeable (hard) lenses, scleral lenses, and soft multifocal contact lenses, offering different solutions for her patients.
Dr. Murawska lives on Long Island with her husband, two children, and their dog, Lola, who keeps her busy. When she has free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in Polish. Dr. Murawska is excited to continue providing personalized eye care to her patients in her new office at M&W Optometry.

Dr. Cynthia J. Wiener has been providing quality eyecare for over 10 years and is excited to be working at M & W Optometry. After growing up on Long Island, she completed her BA in Biology at Binghamton University. In 2015, Dr. Wiener received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University as well as a certificate in Advanced Studies in Retina.
Dr. Wiener enjoys working with patients of all ages. She loves the “aha” moment when pediatric patients realize they can have sharper and more detailed vision with vision correction. Dr. Wiener works with patients with amblyopia and is certified in myopia management treatments including Ortho-k, soft contact lenses, and eye drops.
For Dr. Wiener, eye health is just as important as vision correction. She performs eye exams for patients with diabetes, MS, autoimmune disorders, and those on certain medications which may have ocular side effects. Dr. Wiener is licensed in the therapeutic treatment and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, ocular infections, and ocular allergies.
When not working, Dr. Wiener enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the NY Mets and NY Islanders.

Our comprehensive eye exams include tests for visual acuity, color vision, eye muscle function, and more. We use top of the line retinal imaging to aid in diagnosis and management of retinal diseases.

Our doctors are able to diagnose, treat and manage different eye conditions such as glaucoma, eye infections (pink eye), eye injuries and keratoconus. We provide diabetic eye exams as well as we monitor eye health in patients with MS, autoimmune diseases and other systemic conditions. Our doctors comanage patient care before and after cataract surgeries and LASIK procedure.

Our optometrists can diagnose and treat dry eye syndrome using a variety of methods, including prescription eye drops, tear duct plugs.

Our optometrists are experts in fitting all types of contact lenses, including soft, hard, and specialty lenses such as scleral lenses.

We specialize in children's eye care and offer comprehensive eye exams for kids of all ages. Our optometrists can detect and treat common childhood eye conditions such as amblyopia (lazy eye).

Our doctors specialize in myopia management treatment for kids starting at 6 years old. There are different methods of treatment: Orthokeratology is a non-surgical method of correcting vision while you sleep.
Other options are: specialized mulitfocal contact lenses,
Stellest prescription lenses or eye drop therapy.

We carry a wide selection of designer frames from top brands such as Lafont, Ray-Ban, Versace, Tiffany, Persol and much more. Our staff will help you find the perfect pair of glasses to fit your style and budget.

Your Medical insurance is used for your comprehensive eye exams, medical eye care, and treatment of eye conditions.
Your Vision insurance benefits can be used for eyeglasses, lenses, and contacts.
